Collection: Sump Pumps

Sump Pumps, or submersible pumps, are used to lower and maintain water and slurry levels in flooded areas, such as construction zones, pits, and flooded basements. Submersible pumps are placed at the bottom of holes and, when the water rises to a certain level, the pump sends it out. Submersible pumps are also efficient for pumping out septic tanks, where fluid is transferred to storage tanks and taken to a treatment facility.

Dewatering pumps are another method for removing unwanted water. Dewatering pumps are centrifugal pumps used in buildings situated below the groundwater level to reduce the water level and then maintain it at this level. The groundwater level in construction pits in civil engineering is reduced in a similar way. Dewatering is needed on nearly all construction sites in order to remove water for safety, environmental, and erosion issues.
