US Emerson Motors 

US Motors, a division of Emerson Electric, was purchased in 2010 by Nidec Motor Corporation, but there are still many motors in use with the US Emerson name on the nameplate. US Motors provides a wide range of industrial and commercial electrical motors for HVAC, pump, swimming pool, agriculture, and severe duty applications, plus more.   

All US Motors Nidec on Square One’s website are sold brand new with a manufacturer's warranty. 

Nidec Motors Warranty  

Nidec Motor Corporation allows products to hold a limited warranty for 12 months from the date of installation. This date cannot exceed 18 months from the date of manufacture, with an exception for specific products which can be found on the US Motors website.  

A deferred/extended warranty is available by adding a 5% addition to the net price of the motor, and then the warranty period will be for one year from the date of initial operation, but without passing 60 months from the date of shipment. Before this deferred warranty is put into place, the customer must hire a Nidec motor Corporation Engineer or authorized NMC Service Station to make sure the motor is in “as shipped” condition.  

US Motors Pump Motors 

US Motors’ selection of single and three phase pump motors could turn up with the right choice for you! You can find energy efficient commercial duty pump motors from 3600, 1800, or 1200 RPM with Open Drip-Proof (ODP) and Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) enclosures, double sealed ball bearings for 56-Frame motors, and double shielded ball bearings on all the rest. These bolt-on base models allow for vertical mounted pumps with the shaft down or a horizontally mounted pump with a rigid base.  

There are also energy and premium efficient close coupled pump motors available, including Open Drip-Proof (ODP), Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC), and hazardous location enclosures. They range from 115/230 volts to 575 and come with either footed or footless mounting. 

Three phase fire pump motors include footed, footless, vertical and horizontal mounting. These energy efficient products have Open Drip-Proof (ODP) enclosure and 1800 or 3600 RPM.  

Pool and Spa Motors 

US Motors is one of our brands where you can find a selection of pool and spa motors. These products are of standard and premium efficiency with single, two speed, and variable speed.  

There are Open Drip-Proof (ODP) and Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) enclosures. For mounting there are Square Flange, C Flange Threaded, C Flange Keyed, and Thru-Bolt.  

Pool and spa motors have a warranty of 12 months from the date or installation or 24 months from the date of manufacturing, whichever occurs before the other.  

General/Definite Purpose Motors  

Ranging from ¼ horsepower to 30 horsepower, US Motors’ premium efficient three phase general purpose motors lay out many options. These motors have Open Drip-Proof (ODP) and Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) enclosures, along with a wide range of frame sizes.  

US Motors’ general purpose products work for your general industrial equipment, from fans to conveyors.  

Definite purpose motors are available for your applications that require specific mechanical or electrical designs.  

Washdown Motors 

US Motors has a selection of single and three phase washdown duty motors from premium efficiency to energy efficient. All motors have internal corrosion protection. There are choices for a stainless steel external look, a paint free stainless steel frame with aluminum end shields, or a white epoxy painted steel frame with either aluminum or cast iron end shields.  

The shaft is stainless steel, and mounting can be Rigid Base, C-Face Footed, C-Face Footless, or Yoke Mount. There are Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) and Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated enclosures.  

Washdown motors have seals on all options. Paint-free, stainless steel, and motors with 140 or below sized frame painted motors have stainless steel T-type drains.
